History A family. Four Generations

1917
The beginning

COREYSA has the flavor of more than a century of olive-oil tradition inherited from D. Daniel Espuny Aleixendri, who founded in 1917 one of Spain’s longest-established oil-producing companies. Daniel Espuny came from a Catalan family that already owned olive mills in the 19th century. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to work across several Spanish provinces until he eventually settled in Andalusia, where he and his brothers built a productive and commercial olive-oil network linking Catalonia and Andalusia. His sons, Daniel and Joaquín, continued the business tradition, which is now run by his grandson Joaquín Espuny together with his children. Five generations devoted to olive oil.
